Nilo Kalan, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. February, 1997 It is all in a days’ job for the truck and its driver to log the four hundred and seventy eight kilometers to Damdama Sahib from Nilo Kalan. Unknowingly, both of them leave a lingering impression on an observers’ mind—the undying spirit of the hard working entrepreneur Sikh driver at the wheel, earning his bread.

Bijli Mahadev temple, Kullu, H.P. July, 1998 A two hour climb from Village Dharth above Kullu town, this cloud rimmed meadow is not known to many people who throng each year to this valley. That is the sole reason why it yet rises to touch an explicit charm that thrives so well on lush green hill tops.
